Amanda Wells attends Glory City Church in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. She is part of the Australian Prophetic Council and the Elijah List, heralded as a Prophet, Teacher and Pastor in churches around the world. This site is dedicated to examining her practices and teachings in light of scripture.
You may protest that we are not to judge and touch not God’s anointed. But I implore you to heed Jesus Christ’s Words:
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.” Matthew 7:15-20
My charge against Amanda Wells is that she is a false prophet. And I know that she knows she is not a legitimate minister of the gospel or even the Christian faith. The evidence I have against her will emerge over time, proving to you that she offers no fruit, only thistles.
My question is why are people so gullible to eat her teaching that she herself does not even believe or practice. Why are so-called Christians so defensive over a woman who bears thistles and not genuine Christian fruit?
This scripture and over-arching question is why a red-haired thistle is the logo of this site. Amanda Wells is that red-haired weed and she needs to be weeded/excommunicated from church because of all her lies, pain and hurt she has caused to so many people.
BUT ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE! RIGHT?
I can expect people throwing the non-biblical mantra “Judge not lest ye be judged” or “Only God can judge.”
I would simply ask you the question, If only God can judge then why did Jesus tell his church to discern against false prophets and false Christs in these last days? (Matthew 25.) Why did Jesus tell us to judge righteously? (John 7:24.)
GOD WILL REMOVE THE TARES – NOT US!
A common argument I’ve also heard that stops Christians from living biblical lives in regards to contending earnestly for the faith once and for all delivered to the saints (Jude 1) and proving their love for God by keeping Christ’s commandments (John 14:15) is the argument that we are not to uproot the tares, God will. I expect some Christians will look at the name of my website and thump me over the head with Jesus’ teaching on the Parable of the Tares in Matthew 13.
To use this passage to justify that we should not judge and remove tares within the church is unbiblical. Not only is this condemning Christianity over the last 2000 years for dealing with heretics like Amanda Wells appropriately but this is undermining Jesus and His Apostles teachings in how we deal with fakes in the church.
The best way to refute this silly Matthew 13 argument is to look at the passage itself.
“Then he left the crowds and went into the house. And his disciples came to him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.” He answered, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.
He who has ears, let him hear.” Matthew 3:36-43
You will notice that this parable is not instructing us how to judge, it is teaching us about how God will judge both Christians and non-Christians at the end of this age. If Jesus wanted to make this parable a teaching on why we should not judge, he would have said so in his explanation to his disciples.

So I hope what I provide over a period of time informs why Amanda Wells is dangerous to Christians around the world and how she is damaging the witness of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I wish Amanda Wells no harm. It is my sincere hope that Amanda Wells hears the gospel, repents of her sin and comes to Christ to receive forgiveness of all her wrongdoing.
In the meantime, I can only hope that people are not deceived or destroyed by her destructive teachings.
