Below is another work that has been plagiarised. Wells was exposed in 2015 as being the “Culprit in the Pulpit” by churchwatch central. It is difficult to comprehend why her ministry is condoned and encouraged.

In this exhibit, you will read Article 1 and Article 2.

Article 1 will be an article Amanda Wells has published as her own on Amanda Wells Coaching/Amanda Wells Ministries.

Article 2 will be the original article from which she plagiarised. The parts she plagiarised will be highlighted in red.

Article 1

Amanda Wells “writes” on her FaceBook ‘Amanda Wells Coaching’ account,

“Consider the blameless, observe the upright; there is a (prosperous) future for the man of peace.”  Psalm 37:37.

You have no choice where your past is concerned, it is gone.  You have no choice about your heritage, you were born without a vote in the decision.  You, however, have a choice about your future.  God has given you a sure plan for a prosperous future.  Your choices daily are the bridge towards your future.

God has a prosperous future for those who put their faith in Him and with three qualifications:

1)  Be blameless. The choice is yours.  It is not possible for you to be blameless by yourself but since it is a requirement, God has provided for you the gift of His righteousness.  “God made him who had no sin (Jesus) to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:21. Believe in the LORD Jesus Christ and you will be saved, blameless.

2)  Be upright in character. The choice is yours. Each day nurture a good character by the choices that you make until a good character becomes your very nature.  You are made in the image of God and in His likeness.  God’s nature is in you so that you can bear the fruit of His Holy Spirit. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23.

3)  Choose peace. Peace is a gift from Jesus to you, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27. Now choose to live in peace and guard your heart.  “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” Colossians 3:15.  Avoid strife, fear and anxiety.  Let Christ rule in your heart as you create and rule your world.

You have a prosperous future.  Believe it, declare it and enjoy it.”

Pat Francis wrote:

God is our Comforter

July 30, 2016 • Pat Francis

“God, “who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.” 2 Corinthians 1:4.

There is a cycle that goes from experiencing troubles, to receiving comfort, to comforting others. There are things learnt in the hard times that cannot be learnt in great times. There are things learnt from experience that cannot be learnt from reading a book.  Our troubles and comfort makes us powerful to comfort others.

From negative experiences we:

1) Gain understanding.  Why did this happen and what negative actions created a cause and effect? What did you learn about you, others, and the circumstance? Experience is a teacher and with understanding you will become more powerful, “Though it cost all you have, get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7. Understanding will position you for greater wisdom for greater prosperity.

2) Gain wisdom. What have you learnt from the experience? What should you or should you not do going forward? The Bible describes wisdom is supreme and above all things, “Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom.” Proverbs 4:7.  Wisdom includes knowledge, experience, understanding and decisions.

3) Can help others. Your experience makes you wiser to help others and more powerful to create solutions. The pain you overcome makes you compassionate to comfort others.  David wrote his greatest psalms after his failure and during his times of sufferings.  Now when we read the psalms we are comforted and encouraged.

Find someone to comfort today and use your power and wisdom to help them.

Kingdom Declaration:

God comforts me in times of trouble and makes my heart secure.

Read the Bible in One Year: Psalm 129-131; 1 Corinthians 11:1-16.
